- Just toss it right now. Unless you&#;re a notorious &#;book-finisher&#; like I am, who gets through any and every book that they start, at all costs, simply in order to be able to chip in a complete opinion through a review;
- Read pages and , those will cover your &#;Gilmore Girls insights cravings&#;. You&#;re welcome. You have been spared wasting multiple hours of your life on a less than mediocre book. Even though this part of the book is the one it is advertised by, it feels rushed and as if not enough space was given to it, for whichever reason…

One of the biggest reasons why I picked it up, was because I saw that it won Goodreads&#; Comedy Book Award. Have I Told You This Already?: Stories I Don’t Want to Forget to Remember
I think you are flat out hilarious - and ridiculously intelligent - in your fiction, in your previous memoirs, and in all of your on-screen glory.
For this reason, I bought two pre-release, hard-back copies of your new book: one for myself and one for my big bro, who may be an even bigger fan than I am. And when the long-awaited day came to crack the cover and dig in, it's the reason it took me many, many pages to admit to myself that the experience was falling flat.
This is strange, but in the midst of all the chirpy jokes, I kept getting the sense you were actually very sad? Not sad as in pathetic. But sad as in actually sad. And that's fine. We all get sad. But I kind of wish you'd written about the sadness, rather than writing what feels, to me, mostly like forced schtick.
Plus, all your directing tips really belong in their own book.
